Garden Tour for Sunshine Dreams for Kids...
Wow! What a great day it turned out to be.  We had so many wonderful compliments!  It seemed like everyone we saw had huge smiles on their faces as they traveled from one garden to the next.   The Gardens were spectacular, each one having its own unique character.  A huge Thank You to the Owners for their passion, hard work and great job in preparing their yards.  Mother Nature also provided extra entertainment.  A mother bear and her two cubs were spotted at Linda and Art’s Garden, Bernice and Bob had baby chicks running around, a deer was spotted on the road, munching “someone else’s” trees and the Barred Owl flew into Beth and Greg’s yard, much to the delight of those present. The weather held out till around 2:00 and then the heavens opened up but luckily only for a short time.  A big Thank You to the Sunshine Volunteers, who did a great job serving  the refreshment and OH! Those Delicious Goodies!!!!  Thanks to all those who baked.  We ended up with 28 raffle prizes and those that won seemed very pleased.  We made over $1100 on the raffle. We would like to thank everyone who helped to make this tour such a success.  

In the end we raised $8400. For the Sunshine Foundation “Dreams for Kids”.  We couldn’t have done it without your support.  It was a wonderful way to spend a day and to know that we were helping a Child’s Dream to come true.  Thanks to All!
