NEW MEETING LOCATION ALERT (from Selene)

The garden club will be moving to our new meeting room in July. Our first meeting will be held there on July 16th 2008:-  
    Fraserview Community Center
    22610 - 116th Avenue
Corner of 227th St. and 116th Ave.

DIRECTIONS:
1. Off the Haney Bypass
Turn off the Haney bypass at the 227th street exit and drive for one block to the 1st cross road - you will see the hall on your left. There is a parking lot on 227th street - but do not park on the South side of the parking lot. There are steps leading up from this parking lot to the hall, go round the side of the hall to the main entrance to enter.

2. From the Lougheed Hwy
Turn South on 225th street (toward the Fraser River), go down the hill to 116th Ave. , turn left. There is a small parking lot in front of the hall, please leave it for the people who have mobility issues and the executives who have all kinds of items to carry.
 
PARKING:
There is all kinds of parking on 227th st. and 116th ave. Most of you will need to park on these roads, the exercise will do you good.
 
The hall is carpeted. Everyone bringing plants will need to make sure the pots &  flats are clean and protected by plastic. This is an ideal time to start car-pooling. The fewer cars - the closer to the hall you can park. What with the price of gas, this will be good for both your wallet as well as the environment.
